I have been a Registered Dietitian in the Kansas City area for over 20 years. I continue to leverage my unique combination of clinical experience and business acumen to empower individuals to effect change and deliver impactful results. I redesign the concept of a healthy lifestyle that is customizable not only to the individual but also to the business world. Diet and exercise need to be balanced in order to achieve successful weight loss. You can exercise as much as you'd like but if you are not eating healthy, you will not receive the full benefit of weight loss, and vice versa. I can educate you on ways to incorporate healthy eating and exercise into your lifestyle and create an individualized plan to achieve your goals.
All plans include a 12 week weight loss program to help establish habits and empower individuals to effect change. Each plan will include an initial consultation to evaluate goals, diet history, eating habits, level of activity and personal schedule. Available add-on or individual services include: revised/modified recipes that meet plan requirements, Fitness plans, single coaching call
A common problem with the approach to dieting is that many will try fad diets that don't address your personalized needs. Many popular diets have a negative impact on your metabolism, to the effect that you are no longer able to maintain a healthy weight. Through my plans, we will recalibrate your metabolism so that a healthy plan will help you achieve your desired results.
Our team is specialized in helping people overcome various disease states such as Diabetes, food addiction, anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, and others. Our goal is to help you change the way you perceive food and fitness, and develop a positive body image and create sustainable results. If you struggle with an eating disorder, you should know that we believe clients can recover and live a healthy, happy life.
Children who are underweight may not grow as expected for their age. Mental health problems such as stress, anxiety, and eating disorders can also have nutritional implications.
Being underweight means you are below the healthy weight. People who have been ill, in hospital or who are elderly are more at risk of being underweight. Mental health problems such as stress, Disease states, anxiety, eating disorders or dementia can also cause someone to be underweight. Being underweight may place you at greater risk of nutrient deficiencies, osteoporosis, decreased muscle strength and lowered immunity and more.
